Schlitterbahn has been around since 1966 when Bob and Billye Henry started to create what would come to be one of the first water parks in the entire nation. The family had a vision of combining both fun in the water with a luxurious resort that would truly be fun for the whole family and not just for the kids. Fast forward to modern times and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is now a sprawling 70 acre water park and resort that is sure to be a real crowd please. Nestled on the banks of the Comal River this water park offers it all. Sir loves it so much that he often starts his moves in San Marcos early in hopes that he’ll be able to stop by Schlitterbahn. He’s such a water rat!

Seeing this place always tortures Sir when he’s moving in Round Rock because the sight of the park just makes him know what he’s missing out on, it truly is so sad! I mean what’s not to love, the Rock’N River just went through a multi million dollar renovation and is as fun as ever. The park over doubled in size and is ready for double the fun. There’s now a huge sprayground named Splashville, 4 exciting new slides and party areas that can accomidate up to 500 guests. Talk about the definition of wet and wild fun!
