Sir Austin is the king of Round Rock moving and in his countless moves to the area he has learned a lot. Located in north Austin, Round Rock is one of the biggest cities in the greater Austin area. Round Rock is in the middle of the Balcones Escarpment fault line that is east of modern day IH-35. Round Rock was voted the 7th best city in America, according to Money magazine. Aside from an award winning school system, Round Rock also boasts a number of higher level learning options as well, including a Texas State satellite school.
The city was placed on the nation wide map when native Austinite Michael Dell created a little computer company you may have heard of. Round Rock boasts a number of cool venues of note including the Dell Diamond where the Round Rock Express play ball. The area is also dotted with various parks and cool venues that you can take your family to. Pools, parks and public spaces is what the Round Rock area is known for!
Round Rock also has a rich history and loves nothing more than glorying its past. One has to look no further than the naming of the cities streets. Sam Bass Rd, AW Grimes, if you aren’t aware of these names they are characters in the history of Round Rock that helped build the shape of this awesome city and the city in turn recognizes their contributions by naming streets after these Round Rock pioneers.
Aside from a rich history in Austin, the city of Round Rock also boasts the most public parks per square foot then any other part of the city. As Sir can attest after doing countless moves in the area, if there is one thing that Round Rock has an abundance of, it’s public parks.
